Stymfalia Lake and mountainous Corinthia
Who has not read about the Stymphalia and the Stymphalian hens in the labors of Hercules? In the reeds of the lake, Hercules killed the Stymphalian hens that were ravaging the place,
strange and terrible birds with the copper wings that roared in the marsh and scattered the destruction of the inhabitants. Her name is attributed to the mythical hero Stymphalo, the first inhabitant of the area.
